These pictures were taken during my stay in the San Juan
Islands in Washington State. I stayed here for several months in the
summer of 1994 while I learned some new scientific techniques. Even
though I did work hard, I also managed to find a little time to explore
the area (especially its pubs), and I did see some of the animals there.
The following photographs were taken with a standard 35 mm Minolta
camera using Fujichrome slide film.
