The lories email list is the original email list devoted to lories, fig parrots and hanging parrots. It is the longest running email list in the world that is dedicated to these groups of parrots. This international email list is primarily in the English language. It has more than 250 subscribers who come from all walks of life, including lory owners, specialty and large-scale breeders, veterinarians, zoo keepers and scientists. The list is dedicated to promoting the proper care of these birds, to act as a networking organization and to make provide updates on current research projects focused on these birds and on the status of these birds in the wild.
For security reasons, list members are added only by invitation or after they have contacted the list owner directly. If you know someone on the lories email list, you can also ask this person to request the list owner invite you to join the list.
